
CENEP
Child Education and Nutrition Enhancement Program
Is a daily learning and feeding program for 3.5-4.5 year-old children in selected urban poor communities. The program provides basic education and daily meals for one school year. Now on its 14th year, CENEP has served a total of 1,684 children.



CENEP was established in 2004. The CENEP centers are currently located in:
* Barangay Highway Hills, Mandaluyong City
* Soledad S. Griño Site, Barangay, Bahay Toro, Project 8, Quezon City
* Barangay Sto. Domingo, Cainta, Rizal

CENEP children undertake daily learning activities. CENEP children are given two nutritious meals daily.



CENEP educational activities include special events, such as: Nutrition month (July); Buwan ng Wika (August); United Nations (October); Educational field trips, Christmas celebration, and culmination programs to celebrate the completion of one school year of learning experience.


The program also provides seminars for parents in areas of family life, health, spiritual growth, life skills and livelihood training, among others.
